When I was in Detroit this summer for the annual “What’s New” media event, I had the opportunity to drive the all-new Chrysler Pacifica. For a mini-van, I have to say, it’s pretty awesome. But despite being a busy mother of two, with all kinds of uses for one, I’m just not a mini-van person. (See my Editor’s Note from Issue #11 for more on that.) The Pacifica handled remarkably well, had a comfortable and responsive ride, plus it looks pretty darn good, too. The interior creature comforts entice most buyers, and from the two-tone leather seating to the large Blu-Ray players for the rear passengers, the Pacifica has it all. One of the neatest amenities is the self-parking mode, and while I never thought I would trust a vehicle to park itself, we got to see it in action. Legit.
