The Challenger’s new 6.2-liter Supercharged Hellcat engine is also the first factory supercharged HEMI, as well as Dodge and SRT’s first application of V-8 supercharger technology. For the first time in Chrysler Group history, the all-new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with a Hellcat engine comes standard with two key fobs — red and black. The red key fob is the only key that can unlock the full 707 horsepower and torque potential of the Challenger SRT Hellcat engine; while the black key fob limits the driver to a reduced engine output of 500 horsepower. In addition to the awe-inspiring 707 horsepower of the new Hellcat HEMI, the new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been redesigned and totally re-engineered to be the most true-to-form muscle coupe on the market with performance-enhancing technologies inside and out, including the new TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-new interior inspired by the classic 1971 Challenger. The Dodge and SRT brands now offer the most complete lineup of muscle cars in the market, including the new 2015 Dodge Challenger SXT with its standard powerful and fuel-efficient Pentastar V-6 engine combined with the TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission that delivers 300 horsepower and an estimated 30 miles per gallon; the 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T with the high-torque 5.7-liter HEMI now paired with the TorqueFlite eight-speed or six-speed manual transmission; and the all-new 6.4-liter HEMI Challenger Scat Pack that delivers 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque with the TorqueFlite eight-speed or six-speed manual.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger and Challenger SRTs are built at the Brampton, Ontario, Assembly Plant and will start arriving in Dodge dealerships in the third quarter of 2014.

The Dodge brand is tearing into its centennial year as America’s mainstream performance brand, celebrating its 100th anniversary on July 1, 2014. With the purification of the brand and consolidation with SRT, Dodge is getting back to its performance roots with every single model it offers. The consolidated Dodge and SRT brands will offer a complete lineup of performance vehicles that stand out within their own segments. Dodge is the “mainstream performance” brand within the Chrysler showroom. SRT is positioned as the “ultimate performance” halo of the Dodge brand, together creating a complete and balanced performance brand with one vision and one voice.”At Dodge, we don’t make category cars. We make category cars nervous,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO of the Dodge and SRT brands. “Dodge strives to turn everyday vehicles into personal statements. Our vehicles are modern performance cars that deliver that visceral feel that reminds buyers why they fell in love with driving in the first place.”

The Dodge brand has a drive to innovate and a passion to engineer vehicles that are faster, better or smarter and deliver an attitude that was built into the brand by the Dodge brothers themselves a century ago.

With 100 years of history to build on, as well as the innovative spirit of its founders, Dodge is taking the best of its innumerable successes over the years — the technological advancements of the ’30s and ’40s, design evolution of the ’50s, the racing heritage of the ’60s, the horsepower of the ’70s, the efficiency of the ’80s and unbelievable styling of the ’90s — as it paves the road to its future.

From muscle cars to compact cars, minivans, crossovers and full-size SUVs, the Dodge brand’s full lineup of 2015 models deliver best-in-class horsepower, class-exclusive technology, unmatched capability and a slew of cool features, such as LED headlamps, Dodge signature racetrack tail lamps, dual exhaust, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment centers and 7-inch thin-film transistor (TFT) customizable gauge clusters, to name a few.

For the 2015 model year, customers will be able to drive the new 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger, as well as the Dodge Challenger SRT with the HEMI® Hellcat. The Dodge brand lineup also includes the 2015 Dodge Dart, Durango, Grand Caravan and Journey, including the new Crossroad model, and the ultimate performance halo car, Dodge Viper SRT.

The Dodge brand’s passionate fan base is huge and growing. Dodge has more than 4 million Facebook followers; the Challenger alone has more than 1.6 million fans, which is more than many entire brands. And with 278,000 Twitter followers, the Dodge social channels consistently lead the competitive set in fan engagement.

Comment From Larry Velleqeutte

So why no horsepower rating yet on Hellcat? And when will it be completed? Also, any word on pricing?

11:04
Chris Cowland:

We’re still completing final calibration on the HEMI® Hellcat. The official rating numbers will be released soon. Stay tuned.

11:05
Tim Kuniskis:

As for pricing, it will be announced closer to launch.

11:05
Comment From SRT_ORR

First off, kudos on making the Challenger the King of the Muscle cars again with 1971 refresh. How many units are you expected to produce in the full-bore HELLCAT trim ? or is it the “build-them-as-they-come” philosophy?

11:07
Tim Kuniskis:

Thanks! As I said in this video, this car will not be for everybody. We will gauge demand and then determine volumes.

11:07
Comment From SRT_ORR

Part two, where does the Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pak Shaker stand amongst the SRT line-up? Will the ‘entry’ level Challenger SRT with the 392 have more goodies/different appearance? Technically speaking will things like shocks, brakes, steering etc be the same between the two?

11:09
Tim Kuniskis:

Some of the key differences between the 392 Scat Pack and the SRT 392 include: 3-mode adaptive dampening suspension, unique hood with center intake – similar to Viper, SRT performance pages with shift light, 20×9 forged aluminum wheels and available SRT Track Pack that adds larger 20×9.5 forged wheels and 15.4-inch six piston calipers.

11:09
Comment From John McElroy

Is there a CD number for the aerodynamics of the car?

11:10
Russ Ruedisueli:

The CD Challenger SRT Hellcat is .383, the SRT Challenger is .356.

11:10
Comment From Guest

(Ditto on torque. Not even an “over 600.”)

11:11
Chris Cowland:

The power and torque rating procedure runs concurrently. All we can say today is the power will be in excess of 600 bhp and torque above 575 lb.-ft.

11:11
Comment From Tony Swan

What modifications were made to engine internals to support increased output? — Tony Swan

11:15
Chris Cowland:

The increase peak cylinder pressure of the HEMI Hellcat required that pistons, conrods and crankshaft were all upgraded. The pistons are forged, high-strength alloy and the piston pins use diamond-like-carbon coating. Ninety-one percent of the content is new.

11:15
Comment From Gary Vasilash

What percentage of the body panels are unique to the car?

11:15
Mark Trostle:

The front fascia and hood are unique panels. The rear spoiler is unique as well.

11:15
Comment From Will

In the recent photos of the SRT Challenger 392 and SRT Challenger Hellcat (Beautiful and menacing BTW), they both show two different braking systems (four piston on the SRT 392 and six piston on the Hellcat). Will the Track Pack Brembo Brake option upgrade the four pistons to six pistons on the SRT 392?

11:15
Tim Kuniskis:

Yes indeed – the SRT 392 offers an SRT Track Package that includes the larger 20×9.5 forged aluminum wheels, larger brakes and Pirelli P Zero tires.

11:16
Comment From SRT_ORR

Are the tire’s 275 all around or are the backs staggered?

11:16
Russ Ruedisueli:

275’s all around are standard on the SRT Hellcat, they are optional on the Challenger SRT

11:17
Comment From Larry Velleqeutte

Any kind of timeline on “soon?” Weeks, months?

11:18
Tim Kuniskis:

Larry – we will release final performance numbers before the drive event.

11:18
Comment From Guest

Can you tell us something about peak rpm and torque? — Tony Swan

11:18
Chris Cowland:

Peak power is produced at 6,000 rpm.

11:20
Comment From David Zatz

Roughly how far does the black key fob (and the Valet Mode) reduce power?

11:20
Russ Ruedisueli:

The red key is the only one that will unlock the maximum power available from the engine. The black key limits output to 500HP.

11:21
Comment From Paul A. Eisenstein

Back to the 5% number, Tim, from the video, is that your target?

11:21
Tim Kuniskis:

Paul – we’ve never offered a supercharged HEMI before, but being a new offering for us, we are unsure of consumer demand. As a result, we are not targeting nor constraining volumes at this point. We will gauge consumer demand at market launch.

11:22
Comment From Guest

Is it true the Supercharger was designed in house at Chrysler to optimize performance?

11:22
Chris Cowland:

The supercharger’s design and specifications were developed jointly between Chrysler Group SRT and IHI.

11:22
Comment From Jake Lingeman

How much better are those Cd numbers than the outgoing model?

11:24
Russ Ruedisueli:

The CD is almost exactly the same for the Challenger SRT 392, however the aero balance is improved.

11:24
Comment From Christopher A.

Why utilize a 6.2L engine when the 6.4L already existed?

11:24
Chris Cowland:

The displacement of the HEMI Hellcat was reduced from the 6.4-liter HEMI via a stroke decrease to 90.9 mm in order to increase the strength of the crankshaft.

11:25
Comment From SRT_ORR

What warranty can we expect on the SRT Challenger and Hellcat? And will the 392 Shaker Scat Pak have the full Dodge warranty?

11:25
Tim Kuniskis:

The SRT Challenger 392 and Hellcat will offer the full factory warranty.

11:27
Comment From Christopher A.

Did you look at turbo charging vs supercharge?

11:27
Chris Cowland:

The supercharged option offers a better match to the vehicle characteristics we were targeting, specifically instant throttle response and low-speed torque.

11:28
Comment From Tony Swan

Can you furnish bore x stroke for the 6.4 and 6.2 please?

11:29
Chris Cowland:

The 6.4-liter HEMI is 103.9 x 94.6; the HEMI Hellcat is 103.9 x 90.9

11:29
Tim Kuniskis:

No.

11:29
Chris Cowland:

yes it is

11:29
Comment From AJLenhardt

Will there be a HellCat model with less content and a lower premium, for example SRT Core/SRT Super Bee?

11:30
Tim Kuniskis:

No – there will not be.

11:31
Comment From Guest

has the SRT Hellcat undergone the same durability testing previous SRT models were required to for track duty?

11:33
Russ Ruedisueli:

Yes, The SRT Hellcat is tested to the same standards as all SRT products.

11:33
Comment From Will

Will the exterior colo(u)rs be available year round or will certain colo(u)rs – H.I.P col(u)rs – will be limited one time offerings?

11:33
Mark Trostle:

The vehicle will be launched with 11 exterior colors. B-5 Blue and Sublime will be the first high-impact colors to be introduced.

11:33
Comment From John McElroy

I didn’t know that IHI made superchargers (turbos yes). Why did you go with an unproven blower supplier in your first effort with a supercharger?

11:34
Chris Cowland:

We evaluated all of the current supercharger suppliers during the early stages of the program, relative to efficiency, power and torque requirements. IHI was selected as the best match to our requirements. They have very solid track record of supplying superchargers for high-end products such as AMG Mercedes.

11:35
Comment From Hemi Fan

Any unique exhaust setup for the Hellcat?

11:35
Russ Ruedisueli:

We have a video to show the exhaust system.

Comment From Mopar Guy

When does preordering open up?

11:37
Tim Kuniskis:

Orders will open up in the summer.

11:39
Comment From Lindsay Brooke

I’m assuming the Hemi cylinder block for the Hellcat V8 is cast iron–correct? Why hasn’t Chrysler offered a factory AL block for the high-output SRT versions of this V8, considering an AL block would take 50-70lb off the vehicle’s front end?

11:40
Chris Cowland:

The bearing loads of the HEMI Hellcat demand the need for very high-strength block bulkheads. Cast-iron offers the best solution within the geometry of the HEMI family.

11:41
Comment From BASONE88

Does this supercharged engine feature the Multi-Cylinder-Shut-Down technology?

11:41
Tim Kuniskis:

No

11:42
Chrysler Group LLC:

From the moderator. We’re seeing all of your questions. We’re working on the answers.

11:44
Comment From Christopher A.

What is Tim Kuniski’s favorite feature on this new car?

11:44
Tim Kuniskis:

The fact that this is the most extreme, hardcore … *everyday* muscle car ever produced…

11:44
Tim Kuniskis:

Okay… it’s the engine!

11:45
Comment From Ralph Glover

What is the width of the Hellcat’s front and rear tires?

11:45
Mark Trostle:

The tire size is Pirelli 275/40 and the wheel size is 20×9.5. It’s the same size all the way around.

11:45
Comment From guest

what about 1/4 times and speeds?

11:45
Chris Cowland:

Bloody fast

11:47
Comment From -Brian

what upgrades to the rear end were made to accommodate increased power. we tend to leave bits and pieces on the track.

11:47
Russ Ruedisueli:

The entire SRT drive line was upgraded. That includes prop shafts, axles , 1/2 shafts, and cooling.

11:47
Comment From Gary Vasilash

How much of the sheet metal is different from the “normal” Challenger; what is the extent of carryover in the interior?

11:48
Ryan Nagode:

Mark captured the sheet metal question, see his answer above. As for the interior the overall design is shared between the Dodge and SRT variants. Challenger SRT’s uniqueness is found in our color and material palletes including Laguna Leather, Unique Cluster appearances and 7″ TFT Imagery, SRT Drive Mode control screens, and  “Engine Turn” stamped-aluminum Instrument panel and console bezels.

11:49
Comment From DAmico CDJR

really only have a statement …… PERFECT!

11:49
Tim Kuniskis:

Thank you!

11:50

The P-Zeros were they the best tires for the Hellcat and are they Hellcat only?

11:57
Mark Trostle:

Yes, they are the best tire for the car and they are optional with the Track Pack.

12:00
Comment From Christopher A.

What was the biggest challenge in producing the numbers you wanted?

12:01
Chrysler Group LLC:

Please stand by. Have a detailed answer for you in a moment.

12:03
Chris Cowland:

We defined an SRT requirement for the HEMI Hellcat that included the ability to complete 20 minutes of full-speed track driving in extreme ambient temperatures without the need for cooling-system-driven derate. This places significant burden on the cooling capacity of the vehicle.

12:03
Comment From Lindsay Brooke

Is the IHI blower a Lysholm or Roots unit?

12:04
Chris Cowland:

Screw-type

12:05
Comment From David Zatz

Do you have any idea on top speed? Do we have a match for the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona?

12:05
Tim Kuniskis:

Nice try…

12:06

Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand, will be testing its mettle in the southern California desert at the 2014 Griffin King of The Hammers, an event built around what many consider the toughest one-day off-road race in the world that combines desert racing and rock crawling.Organized by the ULTRA4 Racing Series, the week-long event is held every February on public lands in Johnson Valley, Ca. in an off-highway vehicle area known as “The Hammers.” Competitors, divided into in four distinct categories, race on a 100+ mile course that runs over terrain that includes sandy washes dotted with creosote bushes, flat dry lakebeds, sand dunes and, of course, the world-famous rock canyons and trails from which it derives its name.

Competing in the Every Man Challenge race category, which allows off-road enthusiasts a chance to race their stock and modified stock vehicles, Mopar’s GEN III 5.7 liter HEMI® crate engine will power the six vehicles competing in a newly created spec class in which each entry is outfitted with the same equipment. These unique “4700 Spec Class” 4×4 vehicles have a custom tube frame design based loosely on a Jeep® Wrangler, and are outfitted with Mopar’s HEMI crate engine and some of the best industry-leading parts the off-road world has to offer.“We’re excited to supply HEMI engines to the newly formed spec class at King of The Hammers and put our quality products to the test in the toughest conditions,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO — Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand. “The 5.7 crate engines we are providing are the off-road race version of the recently announced Scat Package performance upgrades for the Challenger and Charger. This event is in essence a proving ground for our engine, set-up, calibration and parts, as we don’t just design and produce quality parts, we want to test them in the field so that customers know that they are getting the very best available.”

Competing in the Every Man Challenge race category of the King OParticipating in the off- road event is a fitting tribute to the heritage of the revolutionary Gen II 426 race HEMI, which is celebrating 50 years since its introduction after being built specifically to win races. The success of that GEN II race HEMI has resulted in an amazing lineage of quality Mopar engines, which now includes the newest generation of 5.7L crate engines.
“We’ve partnered with the best manufacturers in off-road, and this class required parts that could handle the demands of off-road racing and the brutality of The Hammers,” said David Cole, Executive Director of ULTRA4 Racing Series. “Nobody knows off-road better than Jeep and Mopar, and we’re excited to have the HEMI powering the 4700 Spec Class.””The 4700 Spec Class offers both professional drivers and first-time enthusiasts a chance to experience what ULTRA4 Racing is all about,” said Cole of the turnkey solution the spec class offers. “We wanted to give people an opportunity to race or recreate off-road in a fully capable 4WD vehicle without the expense and headache of having to build or buy one of their own.”

The six unique Mopar-powered 4×4 vehicles make their debut on Thursday, Jan. 6 with an 8:00 a.m. (PT) 30-second staggered start. Behind the wheel of each Mopar-powered 4700 Spec Class 4×4 vehicle are the following drivers:

#4702– Larry Nickell is a Senior Editor at Crawl Magazine and has been an active off-road enthusiast for many years, taking his Jeep vehicle on many of his adventures across the country. Larry has a background in racing boats and drag cars and will be driving the Team Yukon Vehicle.

#4703 – Jessi Combs is the fastest woman on four wheels after breaking the land speed record in Utah’s Salt Lake Flats last year. She is also host of television show “All Girl’s Garage” and autoblog’s The List and will be racing in the Team Falken Vehicle.

#4704 – Ross Stanford is based out of Loveland, CO. as the sales manager for Spidertrax Off Road, and will be racing for Team Spidertrax. Ross is an avid off-road enthusiast and has competed in several Dirt Riot events.

#4705 – Shannon Campbell is the only two time “King of The Hammers” Champion after winning in both 2008 and 2011. Shannon will be racing the Team Fox car on Thursday and then racing his own ULTRA4 car again in the Griffin King of The Hammers Presented by Nitto Tire on Friday.

#4706 – Jim Marsden will be traveling all the way from the United Kingdom to compete in the Team Odyssey vehicle. Jim is no stranger to “King of The Hammers” having raced in both the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge and the Griffin King of The Hammers categories in 2013.

Mopar is scheduled to participate in both the 2014 and 2015 editions the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge Race as part of the 8th Annual Griffin King of The Hammers presented by Nitto Tire. • July 22-23 – American Rocksports Challenge in Tooele, UT
  • Oct 17-18 – Nitto Tire National Championship in Las Vegas (Moapa), NV

Competing in the Every Man Challenge race category of the King O
From its humble beginnings in 2007 as an invitation, non-spectator race involving 12 teams battling for bragging rights, Cole, founder of event, has seen its popularity grow exponentially. It now includes more than 300 teams competing in front of more than 35,000 spectators who descend on the area, creating a small make-shift town dubbed “Hammertown.” An additional 500,000 viewers previously have watched the online live broadcast and even more are expected to log on for this year’s event at ultra4racing.com/live/.

  • 2014 marks 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Gen II 426 Race HEMI®
  • Mopar heads into 2014 Pro Stock competition with Jeg Coughlin Jr. and Allen Johnson as back-to back NHRA Champions
  • Hagan and Beckman looking to battle for their second Funny Car championship titles in 2014 after second and third place finishes respectively last season
  • Mopar will display a heritage wall at NHRA events, provide prizes packages to fans, a HEMI merchandise product line, and more in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the HEMI this season

With a total of four world championship titles won in the past three years, Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand, has plenty of reasons to be excited about the upcoming 2014 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season which will feature 24 national race events and is set to kick-off this coming weekend in Pomona, Ca. at the historic Auto Club Raceway. Adding to the anticipation are Mopar’s plans for a year-long commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the legendary Gen II 426 Race HEMI® engine.

First introduced in 1964, a new second generation HEMI engine measuring 426 cubic inches was built specifically to win races. There were two versions– one called the “Circuit” or “Track” engine and the other the “Acceleration” or “Drag” engine.

While it made its racing debut with a win at NASCAR’s Daytona 500, that same year in NHRA competition, legendary driver Don Garlits became the first to break the 200-mph barrier with a Gen II 426 Race HEMI-powered car travelling the quarter-mile straight-line distance in 7.78 seconds at 201.34 mph. Garlits then went on to use that HEMI power to win the first of eight titles at the prestigious U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis.

Five decades later, Mopar heads into a new season of NHRA drag racing after celebrating back-to-back HEMI-powered Pro Stock world championships title in 2012 and 2013 by Allen Johnson and Jeg Coughlin Jr. respectively, along with Funny Car World titles in 2011 and 2012, earned by Don Schumacher Racing drivers Matt Hagan and Jack Beckman.

Mopar returns to Pro Stock competition this season with just two entries powered by HEMI engines tuned by Roy Johnson. Defending world champion Coughlin and teammate Johnson finished 1-2 in the points standing in 2013 and had four national title wins apiece. Both are looking to battle for the title once again this year.
“We are really jacked up,” said Coughlin who will once again pilot the JEGS.com Mopar Dodge. “We’re ready to start the fight, and for sure it’s going to be a fight, just like every season. We’re looking at the Winternationals as Step 1 of the many steps it will take to win our sixth Pro Stock championship.

MR1_1400
“There have been changes across the Pro Stock spectrum, not just with our team, with lots of mergers and drivers moving around so it should be interesting to see how all these moves work out,” added Coughlin. “We’re down to two cars now, so the focus will be even more intense, which should be good all the way around. The support from Mopar and the staff over there remains at a phenomenal level. It’s our job now to go out there and win them a third straight title.”

“Mopar is celebrating 50 years of the HEMI and we aim to add some more Wallys and battle hard for another Championship as our contribution to the festivities,” said Johnson. “We’re focused and excited and ready to go. Ideally we’ll be shooting to finish 1-2 again but it would be nice to do it in reverse order this time.”

In the battle for the 2014 Funny Car world championship, Don Schumacher Racing will once again have four Dodge Chargers R/T entries vying for the crown. Hagan, who won his first NHRA championship for Mopar in 2011, will premiere a new Mopar Express Lane scheme on his Funny Car this season after coming so very close to winning a second world title by finishing runner-up with nine final round appearances and five victories in 2013, the most of anyone in the class.

“2013 was a great year of us and we finished really strong with a win at Pomona in the end,” said Hagan after beating the John Force, the 2013 NHRA champion, in the final round of the season. “We won more than anyone in the class, but it’s just the way the cards fell in the Countdown.”

In contrast, Beckman raced hard without a visit to the winner’s circle in defense of his 2012 world title but still ended up right behind his teammate with a third place finish in the championship.

Fellow DSR driver Ron Capps returns behind the wheel of his Mopar for his 20th season as a professional driver after finishing sixth in the standings last season. He has had four runner-up finishes for the championship in that span, but his hope this year is to go just a step further and win that elusive world title.

The new addition to the Mopar line-up is veteran driver Tommy Johnson Jr., a nine-time national event winner in the series, who takes over from Johnny Gray who finished ninth last year for Mopar with his career best season total of four wins.

At various NHRA events throughout the season, fans are encouraged to visit the Mopar display to view a beautiful heritage wall celebrating the 50 year legacy of the GEN II 426 Race HEMI, participate in contests with special HEMI merchandise as prizes, put their signature a HEMI birthday card and much more as part of the numerous marketing initiatives and events nationwide.

As part of the celebrations, at both NHRA events and on-line at WearMopar.com, a new product line of Mopar merchandise featuring the HEMI 50th anniversary logo will be available with items that include clothing, decorative lighting, clocks, a pub table, stools and much more.

The Dodge brand is the presenting sponsor of the tour, which begins this summer.

Motley Crue made the announcement in Los Angeles earlier this week where the band signed a formal “Cessation of Touring Agreement,” effective at the end of 2015, before celebrating the announcement with performances on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live (Tuesday) and CBS This Morning (Wednesday). The “Final Tour,” presented by Dodge and produced by Live Nation, will kick off in North America July 2 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and reach 72 markets before hitting international cities in 2015.  Rock legend Alice Cooper will join Motley Crue as a special guest for an incredible music package.

“Whenever I talk to people about Motley Crue, the common thread is how cool and relevant the band remains even after 33 years,” said Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge Brand, Chrysler Group LLC.  “This irreverent ‘staying power’ resonates deeply with the Dodge brand as we turn the corner on our 100 year anniversary. What better way to celebrate the band’s final tour and the 25th anniversary of ‘Kickstart My Heart’ than to do it together?”

Dodge has used the band’s hit single “Kickstart My Heart” in three 30-second commercials for the Charger and Challenger as the energy of the song and band captures the spirit and energy of the brand.  “Uncle,” “Dream Job” and “Engine Note” can be seen on the brand’s YouTube channel,www.youtube.com/dodge.

With more than 80 million albums sold, Motley Crue has sold out countless tours across the globe and spawned more than 2,500 Motley Crue branded items sold in more than 30 countries. The band has proven they know how to make a lasting impression and this tour will be no different: fans can expect to hear the catalog of their chart-topping hits and look forward to mind-blowing, unparalleled live production.  “When it comes to putting together a new show we always push the envelope and that’s part of Motley Crue’s legacy,” explains Nikki Sixx (bass).  “As far as letting on to what we’re doing, that would be like finding out what you’re getting for Christmas before you open the presents.  We think in an age of too much information, we’d like to keep some surprises close to our chest until we launch the Final Tour.”

Created by RobilantAssociati, this branding project began with definition of a distinct strategic concept that served as the basis for creation of the name, logo, house style and entire corporate identity, whose universal and essential forms are strongly expressive and evocative.Use of an acronym helps create a transition from the past, without severing the roots, while at the same time reflecting the global scope of the Group’s activities. Easy to understand, pronounce and remember, it is a name well suited to a modern, international marketplace.

The three letters in the logo are grouped in a geometric configuration inspired by the essential shapes used in automobile design: the F, derived from a square, symbolizes concreteness and solidity; the C, derived from a circle, representing wheels and movement, symbolizes harmony and continuity; and finally, the A, derived from a triangle, indicates energy and a perennial state of evolution.

The logo’s design lends itself to an extraordinary range of symbolic interpretations. It uses a versatile, modern language capable of expressing continuous change without losing its core identity.

The new logo will be adopted by Fiat and Chrysler as soon as practicable and before completion of the reorganization of the new Group.
