11:04
Comment From Larry Velleqeutte

So why no horsepower rating yet on Hellcat? And when will it be completed? Also, any word on pricing?

11:04
Chris Cowland:

We’re still completing final calibration on the HEMI® Hellcat. The official rating numbers will be released soon. Stay tuned.

11:05
Tim Kuniskis:

As for pricing, it will be announced closer to launch.

11:05
Comment From SRT_ORR

First off, kudos on making the Challenger the King of the Muscle cars again with 1971 refresh. How many units are you expected to produce in the full-bore HELLCAT trim ? or is it the “build-them-as-they-come” philosophy?

11:07
Tim Kuniskis:

Thanks! As I said in this video, this car will not be for everybody. We will gauge demand and then determine volumes.

11:07
Comment From SRT_ORR

Part two, where does the Dodge Challenger 392 Scat Pak Shaker stand amongst the SRT line-up? Will the ‘entry’ level Challenger SRT with the 392 have more goodies/different appearance? Technically speaking will things like shocks, brakes, steering etc be the same between the two?

11:09
Tim Kuniskis:

Some of the key differences between the 392 Scat Pack and the SRT 392 include: 3-mode adaptive dampening suspension, unique hood with center intake – similar to Viper, SRT performance pages with shift light, 20×9 forged aluminum wheels and available SRT Track Pack that adds larger 20×9.5 forged wheels and 15.4-inch six piston calipers.

11:09
Comment From John McElroy

Is there a CD number for the aerodynamics of the car?

11:10
Russ Ruedisueli:

The CD Challenger SRT Hellcat is .383, the SRT Challenger is .356.

11:10
Comment From Guest

(Ditto on torque. Not even an “over 600.”)

11:11
Chris Cowland:

The power and torque rating procedure runs concurrently. All we can say today is the power will be in excess of 600 bhp and torque above 575 lb.-ft.

11:11
Comment From Tony Swan

What modifications were made to engine internals to support increased output? — Tony Swan

11:15
Chris Cowland:

The increase peak cylinder pressure of the HEMI Hellcat required that pistons, conrods and crankshaft were all upgraded. The pistons are forged, high-strength alloy and the piston pins use diamond-like-carbon coating. Ninety-one percent of the content is new.

11:15
Comment From Gary Vasilash

What percentage of the body panels are unique to the car?

11:15
Mark Trostle:

The front fascia and hood are unique panels. The rear spoiler is unique as well.

11:15
Comment From Will

In the recent photos of the SRT Challenger 392 and SRT Challenger Hellcat (Beautiful and menacing BTW), they both show two different braking systems (four piston on the SRT 392 and six piston on the Hellcat). Will the Track Pack Brembo Brake option upgrade the four pistons to six pistons on the SRT 392?

11:15
Tim Kuniskis:

Yes indeed – the SRT 392 offers an SRT Track Package that includes the larger 20×9.5 forged aluminum wheels, larger brakes and Pirelli P Zero tires.

11:16
Comment From SRT_ORR

Are the tire’s 275 all around or are the backs staggered?

11:16
Russ Ruedisueli:

275’s all around are standard on the SRT Hellcat, they are optional on the Challenger SRT

11:17
Comment From Larry Velleqeutte

Any kind of timeline on “soon?” Weeks, months?

11:18
Tim Kuniskis:

Larry – we will release final performance numbers before the drive event.

11:18
Comment From Guest

Can you tell us something about peak rpm and torque? — Tony Swan

11:18
Chris Cowland:

Peak power is produced at 6,000 rpm.

11:20
Comment From David Zatz

Roughly how far does the black key fob (and the Valet Mode) reduce power?

11:20
Russ Ruedisueli:

The red key is the only one that will unlock the maximum power available from the engine. The black key limits output to 500HP.

11:21
Comment From Paul A. Eisenstein

Back to the 5% number, Tim, from the video, is that your target?

11:21
Tim Kuniskis:

Paul – we’ve never offered a supercharged HEMI before, but being a new offering for us, we are unsure of consumer demand. As a result, we are not targeting nor constraining volumes at this point. We will gauge consumer demand at market launch.

11:22
Comment From Guest

Is it true the Supercharger was designed in house at Chrysler to optimize performance?

11:22
Chris Cowland:

The supercharger’s design and specifications were developed jointly between Chrysler Group SRT and IHI.

11:22
Comment From Jake Lingeman

How much better are those Cd numbers than the outgoing model?

11:24
Russ Ruedisueli:

The CD is almost exactly the same for the Challenger SRT 392, however the aero balance is improved.

11:24
Comment From Christopher A.

Why utilize a 6.2L engine when the 6.4L already existed?

11:24
Chris Cowland:

The displacement of the HEMI Hellcat was reduced from the 6.4-liter HEMI via a stroke decrease to 90.9 mm in order to increase the strength of the crankshaft.

11:25
Comment From SRT_ORR

What warranty can we expect on the SRT Challenger and Hellcat? And will the 392 Shaker Scat Pak have the full Dodge warranty?

11:25
Tim Kuniskis:

The SRT Challenger 392 and Hellcat will offer the full factory warranty.

11:27
Comment From Christopher A.

Did you look at turbo charging vs supercharge?

11:27
Chris Cowland:

The supercharged option offers a better match to the vehicle characteristics we were targeting, specifically instant throttle response and low-speed torque.

11:28
Comment From Tony Swan

Can you furnish bore x stroke for the 6.4 and 6.2 please?

11:29
Chris Cowland:

The 6.4-liter HEMI is 103.9 x 94.6; the HEMI Hellcat is 103.9 x 90.9

11:29
Tim Kuniskis:

No.

11:29
Chris Cowland:

yes it is

11:29
Comment From AJLenhardt

Will there be a HellCat model with less content and a lower premium, for example SRT Core/SRT Super Bee?

11:30
Tim Kuniskis:

No – there will not be.

11:31
Comment From Guest

has the SRT Hellcat undergone the same durability testing previous SRT models were required to for track duty?

11:33
Russ Ruedisueli:

Yes, The SRT Hellcat is tested to the same standards as all SRT products.

11:33
Comment From Will

Will the exterior colo(u)rs be available year round or will certain colo(u)rs – H.I.P col(u)rs – will be limited one time offerings?

11:33
Mark Trostle:

The vehicle will be launched with 11 exterior colors. B-5 Blue and Sublime will be the first high-impact colors to be introduced.

11:33
Comment From John McElroy

I didn’t know that IHI made superchargers (turbos yes). Why did you go with an unproven blower supplier in your first effort with a supercharger?

11:34
Chris Cowland:

We evaluated all of the current supercharger suppliers during the early stages of the program, relative to efficiency, power and torque requirements. IHI was selected as the best match to our requirements. They have very solid track record of supplying superchargers for high-end products such as AMG Mercedes.

11:35
Comment From Hemi Fan

Any unique exhaust setup for the Hellcat?

11:35
Russ Ruedisueli:

We have a video to show the exhaust system.

11:37
Comment From Mopar Guy

When does preordering open up?

11:37
Tim Kuniskis:

Orders will open up in the summer.

11:39
Comment From Lindsay Brooke

I’m assuming the Hemi cylinder block for the Hellcat V8 is cast iron–correct? Why hasn’t Chrysler offered a factory AL block for the high-output SRT versions of this V8, considering an AL block would take 50-70lb off the vehicle’s front end?

11:40
Chris Cowland:

The bearing loads of the HEMI Hellcat demand the need for very high-strength block bulkheads. Cast-iron offers the best solution within the geometry of the HEMI family.

11:41
Comment From BASONE88

Does this supercharged engine feature the Multi-Cylinder-Shut-Down technology?

11:41
Tim Kuniskis:

No

11:42
Chrysler Group LLC:

From the moderator. We’re seeing all of your questions. We’re working on the answers.

11:44
Comment From Christopher A.

What is Tim Kuniski’s favorite feature on this new car?

11:44
Tim Kuniskis:

The fact that this is the most extreme, hardcore … *everyday* muscle car ever produced…

11:44
Tim Kuniskis:

Okay… it’s the engine!

11:45
Comment From Ralph Glover

What is the width of the Hellcat’s front and rear tires?

11:45
Mark Trostle:

The tire size is Pirelli 275/40 and the wheel size is 20×9.5. It’s the same size all the way around.

11:45
Comment From guest

what about 1/4 times and speeds?

11:45
Chris Cowland:

Bloody fast

11:47
Comment From -Brian

what upgrades to the rear end were made to accommodate increased power. we tend to leave bits and pieces on the track.

11:47
Russ Ruedisueli:

The entire SRT drive line was upgraded. That includes prop shafts, axles , 1/2 shafts, and cooling.

11:47
Comment From Gary Vasilash

How much of the sheet metal is different from the “normal” Challenger; what is the extent of carryover in the interior?

11:48
Ryan Nagode:

Mark captured the sheet metal question, see his answer above. As for the interior the overall design is shared between the Dodge and SRT variants. Challenger SRT’s uniqueness is found in our color and material palletes including Laguna Leather, Unique Cluster appearances and 7″ TFT Imagery, SRT Drive Mode control screens, and  “Engine Turn” stamped-aluminum Instrument panel and console bezels.

11:49
Comment From DAmico CDJR

really only have a statement …… PERFECT!

11:49
Tim Kuniskis:

Thank you!

11:50
Comment From Guest

11:51
Tim Kuniskis:

The performance figures will be released before the drive event this summer.

11:51
Comment From D. Jackson

Is the Hellcat using mass air EFI?

11:51
Chris Cowland:

MAF is used for bypass, throttle and OBD controls.

11:54
Chris Cowland:

How about a powertrain video?

11:57
Comment From D. Jackson

The P-Zeros were they the best tires for the Hellcat and are they Hellcat only?

11:57
Mark Trostle:

Yes, they are the best tire for the car and they are optional with the Track Pack.

12:00
Comment From Christopher A.

What was the biggest challenge in producing the numbers you wanted?

12:01
Chrysler Group LLC:

Please stand by. Have a detailed answer for you in a moment.

12:03
Chris Cowland:

We defined an SRT requirement for the HEMI Hellcat that included the ability to complete 20 minutes of full-speed track driving in extreme ambient temperatures without the need for cooling-system-driven derate. This places significant burden on the cooling capacity of the vehicle.

12:03
Comment From Lindsay Brooke

Is the IHI blower a Lysholm or Roots unit?

12:04
Chris Cowland:

Screw-type

12:05
Comment From David Zatz

Do you have any idea on top speed? Do we have a match for the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona?

12:05
Tim Kuniskis:

Nice try…

12:06
Chrysler Group LLC:

We still have plenty of questions and we’ll get to them after this video on the car’s exterior. Don’t forget to push play.

What are all of the adjustable options for performance?

12:08
Russ Ruedisueli:

The drive modes allow the customers to choose shock settings, steering assist levels, horse power, traction settings, auto transmission calibration/shift points. There are over 125 different combinations.

12:10

What power level does the black key limit the Hellcat’s output to?

12:13
Russ Ruedisueli:

The black key output is 500 HP.

12:13
Comment From SRT_ORR

Just wanted to say congrats to Ryan Nagode and his team, the interior on all the vehicles he touched are second-to-none in regards to form and function. So glad to see he’s steering the ship at SRT interiors.

  • Best-in-class combined fuel economy (23 mpg with RWD, 21 with AWD)

Additionally, quicker shifts are possible on the 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition as a result of a “Sport” shift mode that requires simple driver input. When the driver chooses to let the transmission shift in “Sport” mode, gear changes are quicker and revs are held higher for even more performance-oriented acceleration and higher shift dynamics. For even more control, the driver can also use a pair of die-cast, steering-wheel mounted paddle controls and view gear selection in the instrument cluster.

2015 Chrysler 200C

With the choice of two world-class engines, an innovative all-wheel-drive system, available sport mode and paddle shifters for an engaged driving experience, and estimated highway fuel economy of 35 miles per gallon (mpg), the all-new Chrysler 200 makes the commute something drivers will look forward to.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 offers the most available safety features in the mid-size sedan segment, and state-of-the-art, easy-to-use technology that keeps drivers and passengers connected. With a starting U.S. Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of just $21,700 (excluding $995 destination) the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is a sedan that customers will be proud to own, at a value they will appreciate.

“The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 will be the new benchmark for mid-size sedans with an exceptional driving experience, fuel economy of up to 35 mpg highway and exquisite craftsmanship,” said Al Gardner, President and CEO — Chrysler Brand, Chrysler Group LLC.  “The all-new Chrysler 200 lays the groundwork for the future of the Chrysler Brand with a timeless, elegant design; clever functionality; a standard nine-speed automatic transmission; a class-leading all-wheel-drive system; more than 60 safety and security features and a host of new technology drivers and passengers will value.”

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is designed, engineered and built with pride in Michigan. With a major investment of more than $1 billion, Chrysler Group’s Sterling Heights (Mich.) Assembly Plant (SHAP), once slated for closure, sports an all-new paint shop using leading-edge technology, a new, fully robotic body shop and an upgraded assembly area, setting the stage for the world-class craftsmanship found in the all-new 200.

Design
Inspired American design and beautifully crafted inside and out, the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 transforms what customers expect in a mid-size sedan. The 2015 200 sedan showcases the new face of Chrysler, and incorporates timeless design cues that let the car tell the story.

Clean, expressive surfaces define the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200; it’s a timeless American design based on simple elegance. The 200 sedan, with its muscular yet soulful presence, embodies a strong, sculptured exterior that drivers will want to touch and feel. The restrained design is not ornamental or full of line work instead it showcases sensual lines and fluid surfaces, which highlight the coupe-like appearance.

2015 Chrysler 200C
The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 debuts the new “face of Chrysler.” The grille and headlamps are integrated for the first time and the updated Chrysler badge has an emphasis on the wing, which is more defined. The signature light pipe or available full-LED daytime running lamps (DRL), LED fog lamps and standard LED taillamps give the all-new Chrysler 200 a distinctive, recognizable look coming and going.
2015 Chrysler 200S
The Chrysler 200S model delivers an exclusive style – darker, more sinister – not found on other models in the lineup, or in the mid-size sedan segment. The 2015 Chrysler 200S model features gloss black trim and accent pieces rather than the standard bright trim. The exclusive design of the daylight opening (DLO) trim, the area surrounding the side windows, is gloss black – the 2015 Chrysler 200 is the only vehicle in the segment with this feature. Integrated dual exhausts are standard and the available 19-inch Hyper Black aluminum wheels complete the look. The more sinister appearance of the 2015 200S model complements the sportier driving experience the S model delivers. The interior of the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan provides the “wow” factor. Exquisitely crafted with high-quality materials and attention to detail, the 2015 200 sedan’s interior is inviting and comfortable and rewards drivers and passengers on commutes as well as longer journeys.

Using four key principles – an emotional design impact, use of high-quality materials with honest material execution, state-of-the-art technology and clever storage features – and inspired by classic, thoughtful American design, the interior of the all-new 200 sedan is unequaled in the segment.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan features interior trim and materials that are well-crafted, pleasing to the eye, soft to the touch and comprised of high-quality materials. Attention to detail is paramount and attractive components offer world-class levels of fit and finish.

The striking interior color and trim combinations were inspired by celebrated American locations, such as 5th Avenue in New York City, Sausalito, California and Detroit.

A clever design for the center console, made possible by the state-of-the-art full electronic gear shifting with rotary shift knob, is beautiful as well as functional. A unique pass-through storage feature that the driver and front-seat passenger can both access is enabled by the rotary-dial electronic shifting, a segment first. A clever opening at the rear of the pass-through area allows wires and cables from items stored in the pass-through area to route directly to the hidden power supply located in the covered center console. The center console features innovative sliding cup holders with smooth, furniture-like movement, allowing drivers and passengers to use the space in a way that best fits their needs.

2015 Chrysler 200C
The all-new Chrysler 200 is loaded with state-of-the-art, high-tech features and amenities that will surprise and delight customers. The available 7-inch LED full-color instrument cluster allows drivers to receive information and feedback in the format they prefer, similar to an iPhone. A glowing bezel surrounding the instrument cluster gives off a distinctive, pleasing blue glow. The available screens show information such as real-time fuel economy, turn-by-turn navigation, compass, outside temperature, speed, time and other useful information. The display is easy to use and easy-to-read, which allows drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. The 2015 Chrysler 200 features the available award-winning Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen multimedia command center. It is attractive, intuitive and easy to use. Uconnect Access keeps drivers and passengers connected with helpful information such as fuel prices and movie listings. Voice-activated navigation, handsfree voice commands and voice-to-text are some of the available features that allow drivers to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.

Attention to detail is prevalent throughout the all-new Chrysler 200, as no space was overlooked. Surprising details include a rendering of the City of Detroit skyline embossed on the rubber mat in the bottom of the pass-through storage of the center console.

Engineering
Exquisite style meets exceptional performance. The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan leapfrogs expectations in the mid-size sedan segment for comfort, ride and handling. Engineered to provide premium driving dynamics, improved fuel economy estimated at 35 mpg highway, a quiet cabin and an enthusiastic driving experience, the all-new Chrysler 200 delivers exceptional ride and handling characteristics for all roads and weather conditions.

A segment-first standard nine-speed automatic transmission and world-class engines, including the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with a best-in-class 295 horsepower, add up to an enjoyable, spirited driving experience in the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200. An available, innovative, state-of-the-art all-wheel-drive system includes a “sport” driving mode and delivers excellent performance in all driving conditions. With a world-class architecture and leading-edge technology, the new Chrysler 200 is engineered to exceed customer expectations in every category.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is the world’s first mid-size sedan to feature a nine-speed automatic transmission, which comes standard. The benefits of the advanced-technology transmission are numerous, including an estimated highway fuel economy of 35 mpg when powered by the 2.4-liter MultiAir®2 Tigershark I-4 engine. The addition of more gear ratios reduces the frequency of speed changes associated with upshifting and downshifting – fluctuations that thwart fuel savings and undermine the driving experience. The high-tech transmission dispenses power smoothly for elevated refinement. Such performance is made possible because the ratio steps between its gears are smaller than those of other transmissions.

Two world-class engine choices power the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan. The proven, award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 generates a best-in-class 295 horsepower as well as 262 lb.-ft. of torque.

The new Tigershark 2.4-liter MultiAir2 four-cylinder engine produces 184 horsepower, 173 lb.-ft. of torque and delivers excellent estimated fuel economy of 35 mpg highway. The new standard Tigershark engine, that powers the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200, delivers fuel economy improvements of 13 percent, horsepower improvements of 6 percent and torque improvements of 10 percent compared with the outgoing four-cylinder engine.

A new available sport mode in the 2015 200 provides a spirited driving experience by modulating steering, throttle and shifting inputs, electronic stability control, Adaptive Cruise Control Plus and all-wheel drive for a driving experience customers will look forward to. The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is the first Chrysler Group mid-size vehicle to offer paddle shifters, enhancing the driving experience for the driver who wants to experience all the car has to offer.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 offers an available best-in-class all-wheel-drive system, which features a segment-first fully disconnecting rear axle that improves fuel economy by operating in front-wheel drive when all-wheel drive is not needed. The all-wheel-drive system features a one-speed power transfer unit (PTU) and uniquely disconnects and reconnects the rear axle – automatically and seamlessly – as needed and at any speed.  The disconnecting rear axle disconnects at both the PTU and rear drive module, which improves fuel economy by reducing parasitic loss when all-wheel drive is not needed.

Owners of the new Chrysler 200 will appreciate an innovative rotary e-shift dial that replaces the traditional console shifter. The rotary e-shift enables intuitive operation with a direct and confident feel. The convenient, center-mounted, easy-to- operate system provides total control of the sophisticated nine-speed transmission. This new design allows easy shifting and also yields space for more functional and usable storage in the center console.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is the first mid-size sedan to utilize Chrysler Group’s Compact U.S.-wide (CUS-wide) platform, the basis for smooth on-road performance. The new body structure, including laser-brazed roof welds, delivers increased torsional stiffness, resulting in a more connected driving experience.

The 2015 Chrysler 200’s chassis was engineered to deliver sporty European handling dynamics and steering precision with ride and comfort characteristics tuned for North American roads, resulting in excellent handling for the driver with maximum comfort for both the driver and passengers.

The exceptional balance of fun-to-drive dynamics, ride comfort and emergency handling is accomplished through the suspension bushing tuning and the exceptional body structure, including the front aluminum cradle, rear upper/under body structure reinforcement and superior suspension attachment stiffness.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is the most aerodynamic vehicle in its class, aiding improved fuel economy, on-road dynamics, and reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). The quiet cabin is another positive factor in the superior driving experience.

Safety and Security
The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 is a showcase of advanced safety and security technology, offering a comprehensive array of driver-warning and assist systems and state-of-the-art occupant restraints. The 2015 200 offers the most available safety and security features in the segment with more than 60.
The new 2015 200 features multiple segment-exclusive features, which utilize sensing elements that leverage available ultrasonic, radar, camera and other technologies for a 360-degree view of the road. Segment-exclusive available features include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control-Plus: that under certain circumstances and without driver intervention, can bring the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 to full stop
  • Full-speed Forward Collision Warning-Plus: a Chrysler Group first that provides autonomous braking and, under certain circumstances, slows or brings the vehicle to a full stop when a frontal collision appears imminent
  • LaneSense Lane Departure Warning-Plus: introduces steering-wheel input as well as a warning message in the instrument cluster to alert the driver of inadvertent lane departure and assist with corrective action

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 also offers ParkSense Parallel/Perpendicular Park Assist, which uses ultrasonic sensors to guide the driver into parking spaces. The perpendicular park assist function is a segment first.

Also unique to the 2015 Chrysler 200 is the segment-exclusive standard electronic park brake with Safe Hold, which secures the vehicle if the driver opens the door and unlatches the seat belt while forward or reverse gears are still engaged.

Other standard and available features include electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, ParkSense rear backup sensors, ParkView rear backup camera, blind-spot monitoring, Rear Crosspath Detection and LATCH child seat anchors. In addition, the all-new 200 is constructed with approximately 60 percent advanced-technology steel, which contributes to a strong safety cage and robust crashworthiness.

World Class Manufacturing
World Class Manufacturing principles and an improved, upgraded assembly plant set the stage for a world-class vehicle – the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan.

The Sterling Heights (Mich.) Assembly Plant (SHAP), home of the all-new 2015 Chrysler 200, is the beneficiary of a $1 billion investment including an all-new state-of-the art paint shop and a new fully robotic body shop.

The all-new 1,000,000-square-foot body shop features fully robotic assembly for precise fit and finish. More than 1,000 new robots in the new body shop enable precisely crafted features, like laser-brazed roof and trunk deck lid joints and consistent fits on every car.

The all-new paint shop features state-of-the art technologies that offer customers a beautiful palette of exterior colors from which to choose while reducing costs and the environmental impact of the paint operations. The180-degree “rotisserie” rotating carriers ensure the best sealant coverage of all seams in the vehicle. Lasers check that the sealant is applied properly and in the right locations.

Fully robotic paint booths, and the “Round Robot” paint concept where three of the four robots paint a vehicle while the fourth is cleaned and serviced, enable world-class paint coverage for each and every vehicle. Each robot’s applicators are cleaned every two to three hours enabling a consistent level of high-quality paint on every vehicle built.

SHAP utilizes a powder primer paint system for the 2015 Chrysler 200, which saves cost and reduces the impact to the environment by utilizing 97 percent of all powder. This is achieved by recirculation of the powder. The all-new paint shop is a “clean” facility, rivaling clean lab environments with dust and contamination control for a better quality paint. Emu feathers dust the vehicles prior to paint application. De-ionization releases the dust from the feathers after each car is dusted, reducing potential contamination prior to paint.

Attention to detail ensures consistent, high-quality paint for every 2015 Chrysler 200. The fuel-filler door is mounted in the passenger window during the paint process for paint application in the same direction as if it were mounted on the fuel filler opening, resulting in matching paint and color consistency.

New paint technologies enable tri-coat paints for a selection of beautiful exterior finishes.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 competes in the mid-size sedan segment, one of the largest segments in North America, with more than 2 million sales annually. Roughly one of every six new vehicles sold in the United States is a mid-size sedan.

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is available in four different models in the United States and will arrive in volume in dealer showrooms in the second quarter, 2014. Customers can choose from the 2015 Chrysler 200 LX model, Chrysler Limited model, Chrysler 200S model and the premium Chrysler 200C.

The all-new 2015 Chrysler 200 sedan will offer consumers 11 different exterior color choices from which to choose: Velvet Red Pearl Coat, Lunar White Pearl Tri-coat, Phantom Black Pearl Tri-coat (late availability), Vivid Blue Pearl Coat, Crystal Blue Pearl Coat, Granite Crystal Metallic Clear Coat, Luxury Brown Pearl Coat, Billet Silver Metallic Clear Coat, Black Clear Coat, Bright White Clear Coat and Ceramic Blue Clear Coat (late availability).

The 2015 Chrysler 200 is designed, engineered and built with pride in Michigan.

Chrysler 300S Mopar-Modified SEMA Show Vehicle
The iconic and elegant Chrysler 300 is elevated even further to reach the ultimate in style and street cred with a variety of Mopar appointments utilized to create the 2014 Chrysler 300S for the SEMA Show.

Phantom black tri-coat colors the exterior, maintaining the elegance of the Chrysler 300S while adding a menacing edge. Fitting its gritty, big-city vibe, all bright chrome trim is replaced with bright and satin black. The front is reinforced by a 13-bar black “Gotham” grille surround, with a lowering kit dropping the 2014 Chrysler 300S closer to the streets. The wheels pull from the Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition with 20 x 8-inch wheels finished in a Mopar bronze, accented with Mopar wheel center caps. A black SRT spoiler embellishes the tail and helps drive the rear towards the pavement when in motion, enabling the 300S to corner urban canyons with impressive agility.

Luxurious touches rule the interior, with seats and door bolster inserts wrapped in Katzkin “Bisque” leather. Leather seat backs are embossed with the “Imported From Detroit” logo, and matching Katzkin “Bisque” threads border the seats, door and console armrests. All bright trim is changed to Satin Black, and the Mopar Lite Bronze found on the wheels is also featured in the trim accents.

“Berry Gordy is a true inspiration and has paved the way to signify the sound and the drive that reflects the spirit of Detroit and the people who live in it,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, Chrysler Group LLC. “It is a privilege to have such a legendary icon partner with the Chrysler brand and the 300 Motown Edition.”

“The Chrysler brand’s imagination moved the world, while our rhythms forever changed music adding a sound and uplifting spirit that could only be from the Motor City. The spot opens with Berry Gordy sitting in the backseat of the Chrysler 300 Motown Edition parked outside the Motown Museum in Detroit, the building where Motown Records was created. As the car pulls away the voiceover begins to tell the story of sound and drive of the city of Detroit, a sound that still moves people and a drive that allows it to overcome any challenge that comes its way.

As he drives through the streets, images of a young Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, the Supremes and the Temptations flash across the screen and viewers are taken through iconic visuals of the streets of Detroit and eventually transported to the streets of New York where Berry Gordy’s destination is revealed in front of the “Motown: The Musical” marquee at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre in New York City. The spot ends with Berry Gordy stepping out of the vehicle and saying, “We are Motown and this is what we do,” and announcing the musical coming to Broadway in March 2013.
